A hybrid shell combining breathable waterproof material Sympatex with a stretchy water-repellent material. Water-resistant Sympatex is used around the shoulders upper sleeves and hood areas that are heavily exposed to rain. Water-repellent stretchy and breathable materials are mapped to other areas that are less exposed to heavy rain achieving both ease of movement and comfort despite being rain gear. Because all materials are made of polyester it is extremely lightweight and highly durable resistant to deterioration over time due to UV rays and chlorine. *While the Sympatex parts are treated with seam tape for waterproofing the other materials are not waterproof and are water-repellent so it is not completely waterproof.
