Antique Tindeco Peter Rabbit’s Easter Greeting Tin – Child’s Candy Pail / Lunch Box

This is a wonderful antique Tindeco Peter Rabbit Easter tin, likely dating to the 1920s. Similar examples are commonly identified as circa 1920–1925 lithographed candy pails or child’s lunch box-style containers. Tindeco was the trade name used by the Tin Decorating Company, known for colorful lithographed advertising and novelty tins.

The design is charming and highly collectible, featuring “Peter Rabbit’s Easter Greeting” with Peter Rabbit himself, Betty, Baby, Miss Fluffy Chick, and other Easter characters. It has a hinged lid and metal handle, giving it the look of a miniature lunch box or Easter candy basket.

Condition:
Antique condition with age-related surface wear, paint loss, crazing to the lithographed finish, oxidation, and rust, especially around the seams, edges, handle, and interior. The lid opens and closes, and the handle is present. Despite the wear, the graphics remain very charming and display well for an item of this age. Please review all photos closely.

This is a special early tin with wonderful character—perfect for collectors of antique Easter items, Peter Rabbit memorabilia, candy containers, lithographed tins, or early children’s lunch box-style pieces.
