This counted cross stitch kit includes: 14ct plain white Aida fabric, ready-sorted DMC Stranded Cotton threads on a numbered and symboled card sorter, needle, backing fabric, b&w symbol chart and full instructions (filler not included).
Design size approx: 5¾" (14.7cm) square and only whole cross stitch is required throughout with a little backstitching needed for the finer details.
Jane Austen was a witty 19th-century English novelist who
revolutionised literature with her sharp social commentary, realistic
characters, and enduring romantic stories. This design features a portrait of Jane
surrounded by piles of books and two of her romantic male and female
characters. The house featured was Jane’s home in Hampshire where she wrote her
novels, and the Regency style of the time is present with the inclusion of
delicate floral flourishes. If not
wanting to create a mini cushion once the stitching is complete, you could
frame the piece as a picture.
