OEM crankshaft removed from a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta TDI 1.9L DIESEL - Engine code BEW
It's been on one of my back up engines that I kept for close to 10 years. Stored in a dry environment, the engine was dismantled in August of 2025.
I don't recall the exact mileage but it was somewhere between 200 and 250000 KILOMETERS (so 125k and 155k miles). Engine was running before being put in storage.
The crank itself is OK, no damage, no scoring, bearings were fine. It's been greased with wheel bearing grease on exposed surfaces and wrapped in cellophane for storage. However it's going to be your choice to see if you want to polish it or not.
The timing belt gear is included, I didn't have to heat the bolt to remove it so it's not deformed.
If you have any questions ask them before making the purchase, as I don't accept returns.
