RARE 1948 Texas High School Football Ticket - SAN ANTONIO JEFFERSON MUSTANGS vs. SAN ANTONIO BRACKENRIDGE EAGLES.  Game was played on THANKSGIVING DAY, Thursday, November 25, 1948 at Alamo Stadium in San Antonio, Texas and ended in a 6-6 tie.  This was a great traditional historic rivalry that was played on Thanksgiving Day for decades.  The "Brack vs Jeff" game was the centerpiece of San Antonio's Thanksgiving sports scene, pitting the North Side (Jefferson) vs, the South Side (Brackenridge) and often drew sell-out crowds.  Both schools had outstanding teams, with Brackenridge winning the State Championship in 1947, and Jefferson winning the State Championship in 1949 and making it to the championship game in 1946.  Ticket is in used condition, with some paper residue on back from having been removed from a scrapbook (see scans).  Add $5.95 for postage/shipping.
