In December 1970, Israel's 117th Squadron, also known as the "First Jet Squadron," operated the Mirage IIICJ, a variant of the French-built Mirage III. The squadron played a vital role in Israel's air operations during the War of Attrition (1967-1970) and was integral to Israeli Air Force (IAF) capabilities at the time. The 117th Squadron's Mirage IIICJ was used for air superiority, interception, and ground attack missions. In December 1970, the squadron continued to carry out crucial operations along the Suez Canal, defending Israel's borders while engaging in frequent combat with Egyptian forces.
The model had been kept always in the BOX and comes with its stand so as to present it either static or in fly position. The approximate dimensions of the model are (LxW) : 8.3in x 4.5in or 21cm x 11.5cm
It is completely unopened and NEVER displayed (not even for photographs).
