We have not cleaned the pliers or used abrasives of steel wool to clean them.  They have no rust and that is how we found them.  The wire cutting edges are sharp and undamaged.  If you collect Klein or other very high quality, vintage American Tools you may find these of interest.  They are not being sold as ordinary pliers that you throw into a toolbox but they certainly would work as intended if you so wish.  We will ship them within the U.S. for $12.00 and we accept returns for any reason within 30 days.
