DAMAGE AND INSURANCE. We are sorry that despite our careful packaging, you have received a damaged item. We have insurance. Please send us pictures of the damaged items. Please note that you will lose the item(s), that the postal service will seize it or that we will ask you to return it. MY ITEM ARRIVED DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING Items shipped by post are insured by the postal service. Damage must be reported to us and your local post office. They will provide you with a damage form to file your claim. Claims are not processed by the Dutch postal insurance or by us without a (oral) damage form from the receiving postal service. This form is internationally known as a CN24 form. I recommend that you first contact the postal service to inform about the procedure so that you do not have to go to the post office unnecessarily. If they say we need to file the claim, we will be aware of that. But if we make the claim, the insurance company wants proof from the postal authorities in your country that the item was actually damaged in transit. That proof is Form CN24. Keep the box, damaged items, packaging materials, and shipping documents for inspection by postal workers. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us.

The photos we need of the damage:

- the entire packaging with visible address and barcode

- if possible, a detailed photo of the damage to the packaging

- one or more photos of the damaged item in its entirety

- one or more detailed photos of the damage

- one or more photos showing the inside of the package clearly visible

- a detailed photo of the address with barcode

FOR DAMAGED ITEMS IN THE US: You must first initiate an investigation before filing a claim. You can start an investigation by calling the International Inquiry Center.
