A Mid-Century Naturalist’s Time Capsule: National Geographic 2-Volume Bird Set

Transport your library back to 1964 with this magnificent, complete two-volume set from the National Geographic Society. This collection includes Song and Garden Birds of North America and Water, Prey, and Game Birds of North America, both housed in their original forest-green collector’s slipcase.

What makes this set truly special:

The Full Experience: Includes the rare, original vinyl records tucked into the back pockets—allowing you to hear the very songs described on the pages.
Bibliosmia (The "Old Book" Scent): This set carries a distinct, nostalgic "vintage library" aroma—a sweet, subtle scent of vanilla and wood that only comes from decades of natural aging. It is an olfactory link to a bygone era of classic publishing.
Iconic 1960s Design: With vibrant color plates and the classic National Geographic pedigree, these volumes are as much works of art as they are scientific guides.

Condition: This is a well-loved vintage set with 60 years of history. Expect honest "vintage charm," including typical shelf wear to the slipcase and natural page toning. It is a sturdy, fragrant, and beautiful centerpiece for any nature lover's home.
