This is a rare Israeli Government official (I.G.C.M.C.) State Art Sculptured Medal.  It is cast in bronze. The size of this medal is about 5" and it is heavy (about 1.72 lbs.).
This art was created by Eliezer Weishoff, an Israeli multidisciplinary artist who has designed many of the state's iconic images.
The medal's Biblical motif is Samson destroying the Philistine temple.
The medal has a wooden stand. A certificate is also included.
Only 350 medals were issued, this one is number 244.
It is part of a series of Biblical subjects.
