This is a WR Brown pneumatic vise; 4 in Jaws. It has some damage to the jaws; please look at the pics.

Although I do not know much about these vises, I tested this one and here is what I found:
--The vise is pneumatic and needs about 100 psi to work well.
--This is a production milling or drilling vise that is used to make repetitive cuts or holes to small stock.
--It is used in conjunction with a foot valve or something. It is open aprox. 2 in. when at rest.
--When activated by air, it slides forward aprox. 3/4 in in order to grip a piece of work. When air is shut off, it slides back to its original position.
--If the work piece is smaller than optimum size, the vise can be set up with additional jaw pads (not included).

Yes, I did find some damage to the jaws, mostly one side (see pics, but for most work, I do not think this would be an issue. See for yourself.

There is a grease fitting on the moving jaw.

Faster Delivery:
I must get my items to the Post office before 1:30 pm Mon-Friday. That means in order for me to have time to prepare your package, I have to have your payment before 12 noon, for the package to go out THAT DAY.
This means that if you can get payment to me before noon, the item will come to you one day sooner than if you make the payment after noon of the same day. Of course, if you order at any time from Friday noon through Sunday morning, there will probably be an extra day or two delay.
