Hannis Distillery Full Five Mount Vernon Pure Rye Whiskey 1890-1899 Blown in the Mold

A little history
Hannis distillery company was established in 1863 in Philadelphia and acquired the Mount Vernon Distillery in Baltimore. In 1876 Mount Vernon Rye won first place at the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition. The Mount Vernon Pure Rye Whiskey bottle was patented March 25 1890. Company was sold in 1899 to American Spirts Manufacturing Company (Whiskey Trust) and entered an exclusive contract with Cook & Bernheimer. The Hannis Mount Vernon Rye Whiskey bottle is much rarer then the later Cook & Bernheimer.
