RUBBER PART 

The Soviet KR-1U missile suit (model 1 improved missile suit) is designed to protect personnel in the Strategic Missile Forces (SMF) fueling departments from the aggressive components of liquid rocket fuel.

Main Purpose

The suit provides comprehensive insulation of skin and clothing from exposure to:

Toxic fuel components: hydrazine and unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (heptyl).

Oxidizers: nitric acid and its derivatives.

Vapors and gases: aggressive fumes generated during the fueling of missile systems.

Design Features and Equipment

The KR-1U is externally similar to the L-1 general-purpose suit, but is distinguished by increased durability and specific details:

Material: Made of thicker, denser rubberized fabric (usually green or gray), resistant to chemical degradation. -Jacket: Equipped with a hood with a built-in thick glass viewing window, secured with a rubber seal for a watertight seal.

-Trousers (bib overalls): Equipped with attached boots (unlike the "socks" in the L-1) with thick, ribbed soles for working on slippery or aggressive surfaces.

-Cloth shield (robe): Includes a special cloth suit (vest or jacket, trousers, and a hat), which is worn under the main protective layer for temperature regulation and additional protection.

You will receive only RUBBER PART of the suit. Wool part not included.

Советский костюм ракетчика КР-1У (костюм ракетчика — модель 1 улучшенная) предназначен для защиты персонала заправочных отделений Ракетных войск стратегического назначения (РВСН) от агрессивных компонентов жидкого ракетного топлива.

Основное назначение

Костюм обеспечивает комплексную изоляцию кожных покровов и одежды от воздействия:

Токсичных компонентов топлива: гидразина и несимметричного диметилгидразина (гептила).

Окислителей: азотной кислоты и ее производных.

Паров и газов: агрессивных испарений, возникающих в процессе заправки ракетных систем.

Конструктивные особенности и комплектация

Внешне КР-1У напоминает общевойсковой костюм Л-1, однако отличается повышенной прочностью и специфическими деталями:

-Материал: Изготавливается из более толстой и плотной прорезиненной ткани (обычно зеленого или серого цвета), устойчивой к химическому разрушению.

-Куртка: Оснащена капюшоном со встроенным толстым стеклянным смотровым окном, закрепленным на резиновой прокладке для герметичности.

-Брюки (полукомбинезон): Имеют притачные сапоги (в отличие от «чулок» в Л-1) с толстой рифленой подошвой для работы на скользких или агрессивных поверхностях.

-Суконный экран (роба): В комплект  входит специальный суконный костюм (жилет или куртка и штаны, шапка), который надевается под основной защитный слой для терморегуляции и дополнительной защиты.
