- Function: NON-FUNCTIONAL BATTERY. As is expected with 19-year-old lithium-ion technology, the internal battery has permanently depleted. The headset will briefly power on when seated in a powered dock, but it immediately powers off when removed. It cannot hold a charge and cannot be used for wireless phone calls.
