This is a 45 by The Beach Boys (the label actually just says Beach Boys). It's on the Candix label, and is number 331. The two tracks are Surfin and Luau. My research shows that Candix 331, despite the higher number than the more frequently seen Candix 301, was the actual first pressing. After that came the copy on the X label, followed by Candix 301.
I'm a jukebox collector with a lot of records, not an actual record collector, so I'm no expert on grading. The label shows wear, but has no stickers or writing on it. The record shows a lot of wear and visible scratches, but there's no cracks or chips. I've tried to show this in the pictures. The record plays all the way through on both sides and sounds fairly good. There is noticeable background noise from wear, but not unbearable. I'm just guessing the condition to be fair to good. Listen to both sides, and you can grade them accordingly yourself.
If you're on a laptop or desk top computer, you can click on the video link at the end of the description below to see a video of this actual record playing on both sides all the way through. It's being played on a Kenwood turntable through an early 1970's Harmon-Kardon model Three Thirty receiver (see pic, not included) with no filters. What you hear is what you'll get.
If you're on a mobile device, the link may or may not work. If it doesn't work, you can copy and paste the link, or you can go directly to YouTube and do this exact search in the search box: jbxj331, and look for the video with that title. The thumbnail pic shows this record with a little card that says for sale on Ebay. And if that doesn't work, search: Candix 331 for sale on ebay.Sorry, but due to past problems, no shipping outside the USA.
I've been selling on Ebay for over 27 years. I always have and always will resolve any problem that arises. Please be sure to contact me if there is any problem, as I can't resolve a problem if I don't know about it. Thanks!
