This is a diagnostic ROM for the Tatung Einstein TC01 computer that was developed by Fabrizio Di Vittorio, and helps you diagnose a faulty Tatung Einstein TC01 computer. 

The Tatung will need to be partially alive to be able to use this ROM. You will need at least the following working:
- CPU and reset circuitry 
- Video
- Address/databus logic

The ROM Tests the following:
  • 64K dynamic RAMs (8x4164)
  • PSG (AY-3-8910) and connected keyboard
  • VDP (TMS9129) and VRAM
  • FDC (FD1770)
  • CTC (timer)
  • PCI (8251 USART)
  • PIO (parallel IO)
I have permission from the developer to sell this ROM. 

Installation:
Remove the cover from the Tatung and install this firmware next to the current firmware.  

Take note on the orientation - make sure pin 1 is correct. See photos. 

Power in the Tatung and tests will immediately start. 

Failed tests will be displayed on the monitor with suggestions on what IC's are bad.
