The Canare 4S11G is a premium star-quad speaker cable designed for audiophiles who value both sonic integrity and build quality. One of the best of its kind. Using high-purity oxygen-free copper in a 4-conductor star-quad geometry, it minimizes electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, delivering a clean, natural signal path. The 11-gauge effective conductor size provides excellent current handling, giving it the control and headroom needed for dynamic, full-range playback. The Canare 4S11G speaker cable can be used for Bi-Wiring & Bi-Amping connections or as a normal 2 conductor speaker cable by star-quad connection. The connection of the conductors in diagonal pairs considerably reduces the mutual inductance.

THE STAR QUAD STORY - Four-conductor Configuration Minimizes Noise
Speaker cable must accommodate relatively high signal levels, typically tens to hundreds of watts of RMS power. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) can radiate from these speaker lines directly into adjacent low voltage cables (i.e. microphone, video, lines, etc.). Canare solves this
problem by using a 4-conductor “Star Quad” configuration in all of our 4S-series speaker cables. Because every conductor is located the same distance from center, the opposing magnetic fields are cancelled out. Attenuation of magnetic field radiation is superior when compared to a
standard 2-conductor speaker wire.
