For sale is a Canon Model 7 #918339 – one of the last Canon rangefinder cameras with Leica LTM (M39) screw mount. A well-known and respected model among classic camera users.

This camera has been serviced: cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted. It has also undergone thorough testing, and the following condition has been observed:

  1. The steel shutter is in very good condition. The first curtain is flat; the second has a small dent (considered normal). A technician I know described it as the flattest Canon Model 7 shutter he's seen.

  2. The slow speed gear has been cleaned, and works well.

  3. The viewfinder has been cleaned.

  4. The parallax correction frame was lubricated and moves freely.

  5. All light seals have been replaced with new ones.

  6. Shutter speeds were tested electronically – fast speeds fall within the expected tolerance range.

  7. The built-in light meter reacts to light. However, I cannot guarantee its accuracy and wouldn't rely on it.

Cosmetically, the camera is in good condition with light signs of use and no serious damage.
Comes with its original leather case.
