The Greek Government had considered purchasing the Eurofighter Typhoon but in 2005 opted to purchase the F-16. Under the Peace Xenia IV agreement 20 new Block 52 F-16Cs and 10 Block 52 F-16Ds would be delivered to the Hellenic Air Force (HAF) between 2009 and 2010. The 336th Bomber Squadron, callsign "Olympus", is the second oldest squadron in service with the HAF. In 2014 it became the last HAF squadron to retire the A-7 Corsair as it transitioned to the F-16.
The model had been kept always in the BOX and comes with its stand so as to present it either static or in fly position. The approximate dimensions of the model are (LxW) : 8.3in x 5.3in or 21cm x 13.5cm
It is completely unopened and NEVER displayed (not even for photographs).
