Fourteen Medical School Resources for Sale
I am selling some of the books that I had used as part of my medicine degree as I am graduating this year. Have used these books throughout my pre-clinical and clinical years and found them to be very useful in helping me develop my knowledge.
As a GEM (Graduate Entry Medicine) student I had to find materials to help onboard me to be able to keep up during the early pre-clinical years and these were some of the texts used to help drive that success. A perfect gift either to someone who is, or you know, about to start medicine this September (congrats!).

Clinical Anatomy - Applied Anatomy for Students and Junior Doctors (rather more easier to read than Grey's or Netter's)
How to Succeed at Medical School - An Essential Guide to Learning
Tamra's Notes - An Undergraduate's Guide to Preclinical Medicine
Oxford Handbook for Medical School
The Complete Guide to Cardiology - by MedSchoolBro (a well known medfluencer)
Tamra's Notes - An Undergraduate's Guide to Human Anatomy
Clinical Specialties and General Medicine and Surgery - these two books by Dr Rebecca Richardson were a lifesaver for understanding conditions for clinical placements and exams
Biochemistry - A Core Text with Self-Assessment
Fundamentals of Biochemistry
Human Nutrition and Dietetics
Harper's Illustrated Biochemistry
Notes (please read):
- Most if not all of these books will not be the latest additions, but will still cover material that will be taught or expected to know during medical school.
- Some of these books may have come with scratch off codes for the e-books but I cannot guarantee these will work, so assume that the e-book versions are not available with this purchase
- The UKMLA - the final exam sat by final year students - has changed recently in its curriculum. These books will still provide useful information for your studies, and hopefully will give you the same strong base that I had in order to maximise my learning and enjoyment.
- They range in condition, but are still very good without any signficant defacement or missing pages.
