The included used toner is printing light / faded / poorly due to being aftermarket, old, or expired. It is the toner cartridge, not the printer. New toner will print with much better quality.
So you don't have to guess, by saying this printer has been serviced we mean the following:
Printer cleaned inside and out.
Paper feed solenoid(s) checked and rebuilt if needed to prevent feed/jam issues.
Paper pickup/feed rollers cleaned & rejuvenated, main tray roller(s) replaced if worn.
A couple tiny cracks in plastic on the back corner, see pics.
No issues. Fully functional.
Cosmetic wear, some scratches scuffs etc.
