The 300 series telephones were first introduced in the late 1930's and were the first fully intigrated telephones to contain their own twin gong bells and used by the GPO, the lovely nostalgic sound which can be heard in so many old films and TV series such as Heartbeat George Gently and The Royal just to name a few.

The telephone has undergone a full overhaul and conversion to work on modern systems including the fitting of a 3.3K resistor to prevent it interfering with any other phones you might have, comes fully tested on my BT line and mobile networks,these telephones work on pulse dialing the bakelite has been hand polished using the correct polish to produce a very nice  finish the dial plate has no wear and fitted with a correct chrome plated dialing wheel, all my phones come with a new line cord which is 3 meters in length and a new telephone plug, the telephone will be supplied with the dial label shown or one with your own town and phone number just let me know at point of sale and I will fit this free of charge. The telephone shown is the actual one for sale and will be very well packed. I stand by every telephone I overhaul and I am sure you will very happy with it. I have been collecting and restoring bakelite telephones for over twenty years and do my best to offer a quality telephone at a reasonable price please check like for like on ebay and you will find my prices very good value!

If you have fiber fitted the telephone will allways ring in and be used but if you want it to dial out you will need a pulse to tone converter which are readily available on Ebay.
