Part type: square taper JIS bottom bracket axle designed for use with separate cups and bearings in Italian-threaded 70 mm bottom bracket shells.

Material and construction: steel spindle with integrated bearing race shoulders and black painted finish with machined silver bearing surfaces.

Color and finish: black body with silver bearing journals and white stamped logos and specification text.

Logos and markings: center section carries Shimano 600 branding with model BB-6400 plus stamped specifications including LUG WIDTH and LENGTH along the body.

Actual Measurements: Lug width: 70 mm; spindle length: 115 mm, both values taken from the stamped markings on the spindle.

Intended use: replacement spindle for Shimano 600 series square taper road cranksets on vintage Italian road bike frames with 70 mm bottom bracket shells.
