Membrane Solutions Disposable Vacuum Filtration units are very useful in large volume samples separation and purification for tissue culture media, biological fluids and fixation buffers.0.22 µm for the sterile filtration of cell culture, media, buffers, and reagents. The unit includes membrane filter, graduated funnel of clear polystyrene with polyethylene neck adapter and polystyrene reservoir bottle with a separate sterile polyethylene cap.
Specifications:
1) Bottle top vacuum filter is designed to fit plastic or glass media bottles with 45 mm neck sizes.
2) Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane has a 0.22µm pore size and 17 sq cm area; provides the fastest flow rates and highest throughput(could filter 500 ml-1 L), lowest protein binding and low extraction rate, and best filtering of cell culture media.
3) Polystyrene filter funnel has a 250 mL capacity and a 45 mm diameter polyethylene neck adaptor with an angled hose connector that simplifies vacuum line attachment.
4) Individually packaged, sterile, and certified non-pyrogenic; designed for filtering and storing cell culture media, biological fluids, and other aqueous solutions.
