I believe this material is yellow meranti that is in the larger mahogany family.  I have had this material for a few years and got it near Annapolis, MD at a retiring boat interior maker.

Rough cut for a Les Paul with a 17-degree headstock angle.  About 3" wide and 27.5" long. Extra material for headstock wing material will be provided from the same board.  Some slight graying in some areas or other small visual anomalies.
