Disc is in excellent condition
Universal Music Group SACD test pressings were done at several manufacturing facilities including
Crest National Optical Media, Sony DADC and Sonopress
Sony Discs have the artist and title printed on the disc with a SUSS prefix and #
Crest Discs usually had a sticker on the box with no printing on the label
Additionally some test pressing were done at Sonopress in Germany
They are in Sonopress cases with Sonopress printed on the disc
Only a few of these were made for reference approval prior to manufacturing the finished SACD
CDs and Jewel boxes show signs of normal wear and tear. Some jewel boxes suffer from the life long problem of broken hinges but that is a small number of the listed CDs.
Some CDs have a saw cut or a small drilled hole. These are not CUT-OUTs. Capitol/Blue Note and many other labels did this before switching to promo stickers or stamps. Some labels used the saw cut/drilled hole for promo copies so they could not be returned by record stores for credit.
CD grading is visual only and conforms to no standard grading conventions other than personal observation.
