This is an original shield shaped 1973 plaque from the Southern California Robbery Association awarded to Robert Briggs, longtime public employee in the California Department of Corrections. The plaque is 7" wide and 8.5" high.

  This is one of many California prison/corrections collectibles from the estate of Robert D. Briggs who served in the California Dept. of Corrections for 38 years at San Quentin, Folsom, Chuckawalla and other prisons. He was also instrumental in the 1960's California Corrections inmate firefighting and conservation programs.

   The plaque is in very good condition with some light wear, as shown.
