This set is the AMERICAN FLYER SET #5570H  -- THE NEW SILVER ROCKET  PASSENGER SET of  1955 

THIS SET HAS BEEN IN MY COLLECTION FOR 25+ YEARS AND HAS NOT BEEN RUN DURING THAT TIME.

Please note that this only includes the engine and cars.  There are no additional set items unless specifically mentioned

The set includes:
  1. 474 CHROMR ROCKET Alco PA Diesel loco with dual motors.  The  graphics are  complete and all original. There are 5 wear marks showing black plastic in the chrome (SEE PHOTOS). The E - unit was cleaned and the grease was replaced so the unit runs properly. The horn does work.The  graphics are  complete and all original. There are some very minor flake spots  and one 1/4" x 1/4"flake spot on left front skirt.
  2. 475 CHROME ROCKET Alco PA Dummy with horn wich does work.
  3. 960 Satin silver AFL "Columbus" Combine car in EXCELLENT Condition
  4. 961 Satin Silver AFL "Jefferson" coach in VG+ Condition Some AFL lettering on one side is rubbed off (see photo).
  5. 962 Satin Silver AFL "Hamilton" Vista Dome car in EXCELLENT Condition
  6. 963 Satin Silver AFL "Washington" Observation car in EXCELLENT Condition
