Vintage Japanese Resin Bento Lunch Box This is a Japanese vintage resin bento lunch box, or jubako. Round and finished in red and black, this bento box features two tiers of different sizes and a lid. The lid is decorated with painted gold leaves, vines, and three large peony flowers. The flowers have dark red or dark purple brush strokes to add more color. The bottom tier can fit inside the top tier for storage. While it can be used for small meals, it can also serve as a sweets container or kashiki for sencha and tea ceremonies.
