Cobaltblaues Innenfang von einer Schicht zitrin überzogen und von einer dicken(bis 3,5 cm) Schicht Kristallglas in sommerso Technik überfangen. Plan geschliffener, glatt polierter oberen Rand mit drei Zigarettenablagen und grüne Folien Etikett. Außer Wandung in „Corroso“ Technik gearbeitet was diese Schale zu echter Rarität macht. Schwere massive Ausführung. Plan geschliffene und glatt polierte Boden. Auf Boden leichten zeittypische Schiebespuren und ein Paar kleine Chips am Wandung und Kanten. Gut erhaltener Zustand: keine Bestoßungen, Sprünge, Kratzer usw.

Beautiful, rare Corroso Sommerso ashtray, designed by Flavio Poli and manufactured by Vetreria Seguso Vetri d’Arte, Murano, circa 1960s. The cobalt blue interior is covered with a layer of citrine and overlaid with a thick (up to 3.5 cm) layer of crystal glass using the Sommerso technique. The flat, polished upper rim features three cigarette rests and a green foil label. The entire ashtray, except for the body, is crafted using the "Corroso" technique, making it a true rarity. It is a heavy, solid piece. The base is flat and polished. There are some minor, age-related scuff marks on the base and a few small chips on the body and edges. Overall, it is in good condition: no chips, cracks, scratches, etc.
