GE ECM Motor for Carrier (Bryant, Payne) Furnace Draft Inducer Assembly
Part Numbers:
Specs:
Mfg Date: 01/20/2012
This is an ECM Motor for the Draft Inducer Assembly used in certain models of Carrier high efficiency furnaces. It is also used in Bryant and Payne furnaces. (Carrier makes Bryant and Payne furnaces - and they typically share parts.).
I sell these motors instead of the whole draft inducer assembly because these are often the part that fails in the draft inducer assembly, and they are much easier to pack and cost much less to ship than the complete assembly.
These are not difficult to replace….. if you would like to know more about what’s involved in replacing this motor please write before purchasing and I will be glad to describe what’s involved in detail so you can decide if it’s something you’d like to do.
As you can see in the photo I’ve also included all the machine screws used in the draft inducer assembly, the set screw used to secure the fan blade to the motor shaft, and the spacers and long machine screws used to secure the drafted inducer assembly to the furnace. If you drop or lose one of these while you’re working you’ll have a spare.
Be sure and check the part numbers and review photos before purchasing to confirm this is the correct replacement for yours. The part members snd specs should match.
It’s important to me that people who purchase my parts have a good experience.
If you’re not sure this is the correct part, or you’re not sure you need an ECM draft inducer motor, please don’t guess! if you write BEFORE purchasing, I will be glad to help.
If this is what you need, I believe it’s an excellent value. A new Carrier ECM draft inducer assembly would probably cost in the $1500 range from an HVAC company maybe more.
Please understand however, this is not a part you can try to see if it’s what you need, and return if you discover it wasn’t what you needed. This is a relatively simple part to install, but it requires specific knowledge and tools to diagnose whether it’s what you need or not. An error code in your furnace pointing to the ECM draft inducer is NOT enough to confirm this is your issue. That code points to the direction of the ECM blower assembly, but it could be caused by a wiring problem, or a control board problem also. Unless you are a licensed HVAC professional or this is purchased by a legitimate registered HVAC business address, please understand you are purchasing this at your risk and not mine.
If there’s a chance you might want to return this, I recommend purchasing it from a seller that offers returns instead. My price does not include the ability to return this if you try it and discover this is not what you need.
Please write if you have any questions and I will be glad to help.

SHIPPING
——————————————————-
Shipped promptly after purchase. If purchased and paid before midnight Eastern time it will ship the next morning. Including Saturday morning…..the only days I do not ship are Sundays and Postal holidays.
I do not profit from shipping. If you choose USPS ground advantage service I pay 100% of the cost of shipping within the United States.
If you prefer USPS priority mail I pay approximately 2/3 of the cost of postage.
For shipping within the United States USPS and Ground Advantage and Priority Mail are both excellent values and the only options I offer. Express Mail/overnight delivery is too costly to make it a good value.
International shipping is handled through Ebay’s global forwarding program. They offer the best value for international shipping, they handle the customs paperwork and fees, they choose the best shipper, and they insure it.
I do not offer local pick up and I do not sell within 25 miles of Canton Akron Ohio. Please understand the company I work for is kind to allow me to sell parts, and I do not sell within their service area.

4. GUARANTEE
——————————————————————
IF PURCHASED BY A LICENSED HVAC PROFESSIONAL:
If you are a Licensed HVAC Professional and you purchase this with shipping to a legitimate (registered) HVAC business address, I guarantee it will work properly when you receive it. You have seven days from the date you receive it to check it and report any issues.
GUARANTEE TO ALL OTHERS:
To all others, please understand you are purchasing this at your risk and not mine.
Unless this is purchased by a licensed HVAC professional and shipped to a legitimate (registered) HVAC business address - this part is sold “as is”. I do guarantee you will receive the part shown in the photos. If you buy the wrong part, or if it fails to fix your issue for any reason, it cannot be returned.
WHY IS MY GUARANTEE DIFFERENT FOR HVAC PROFESSIONALS VERSUS OTHERS?
Manufacturers and suppliers of HVAC equipment and parts recommend installation and servicing only by licensed HVAC professionals. Many if not most suppliers of HVAC equipment and parts will only sell to licensed HVAC contractors.
Licensed HVAC Professionals typically must successfully complete a significant amount of training and hands on experience as an apprentice, and pass tests to prove their competence. While professionals can also make mistakes, it is MUCH more likely someone trying to fix their own equipment will have an issue.
Unfortunately people trying to fix their own equipment often purchase the wrong part, or they misdiagnose the issue and buy a part that was not what they needed to fix their equipment, or they install it incorrectly.
While it is possible for someone who is not an HVAC Professional to fix their own equipment- it is significantly more likely they will have issues than a licensed, HVAC professional.
Thats why my return policy is different for licensed HVAC professionals.

If you are not sure this is what you need, please write before purchasing and I will gladly check to confirm this is the correct replacement part or
