OMICRON® PM2.5 Air Monitoring Membrane

OMICRON® PTFE Membrane Filters are engineered specifically for Particulate Matter (PM2.5) Air Monitoring as per environmental guidelines. These filters are ideal for gravimetric analysis and chemical characterization of airborne particulate matter collected from ambient air sampling.

The filters consist of a hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane laminated on rigid polypropylene support ring — ensuring excellent particle retention, dimensional stability, chemical inertness, and compatibility with automated filter handling systems.

Key Features

     • Low Background Wight Variability: Ideal for gravimetric weighing

Chemically Inert: Resistant to acids, bases, and organic solvents

     • Hydrophobic PTFE Membrane: Prevents water absorption and supports aerosol sampling

     • Consistent Filtration Efficiency: Excellent PM2.5 retention with minimal pressure drop

     • Thermal Stability: Operates up to 260° C — ideal for both field and lab use

     • Low Metal Content: Suitable for trace element and metal analysis

     • Sequentially Numbered for easy traceability and Scannable data matrix code for convenience.
