History behind the quilt: This lovely quilt was made by Wilhemena (Minnie) Anderson Jensen. She was married to Edward Jensen and lived their entire lives in Minneapolis MN. She never worked outside of the home and was a mother of 4 sons and one daughter. She was born in 1884 in Sweden and died in Minneapolis in 1964 at the age of 80.
The quilt is approx. 100 years old and has been used and saved in Minne’s family. It does have some staining and spots. It’s is all pieced, stitched and quilted by hand!
