This excellent Cubic Precision / K&E 71-3012 Paragon® precision tilting level is offered here with the transport case. Details and technical specs appear below.

   IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION:
This instrument was issued by Cubic Precision with a model and serial number tag designating it as a 71-3012. It is in-fact identical to the 71-3010. 
Originally it was part of an accessorized kit no. 71-3012.

The following are included, 1 each:
Paragon® Tilting Level, tagged as model 71-3012, serial no. 411415; 
71-1111 Optical micrometer;
71-1000-2  Operating manual (new);
Fitted transport case. 

This is a perfect, technically comparable alternative to a Brunson 545-190.


Technical Specifications:

Telescope model 71-3012 serial #411415.

Length: 11-1/4 inches.

Optical system: Fully erecting, achromatic.

Magnification: Varies automatically from 20x at near distance to 30x at infinity.

Focusing range: 4 inches to infinity.

Resolving power: 4 seconds of arc (per Bureau of Standards test procedure).

Field of View: 55 minutes at infinity, 5.2mm at near distance.

Effective aperture: 30 mm

Optics: Fully coated throughout.

Reticle: All purpose, double glass, rustproof; cross pattern with single lines top  

    and right, paired lines bottom and left.

Eyepiece: Erecting, achromatic; a removable blank is provided at the eyepiece 

   section where an Auto-Collimation Conversion unit (not included) can be installed.


Optical micrometer:

The model 71-1111 optical micrometer reads directly to .001”, or 

to .0001” using the vernier scale (instructions appear in the manual).


Levels:

Circular (bullseye) level: Sensitivity 10 minutes per 2 mm movement.

High precision level: The 71-3280 is standard equipment on this instrument, it is a coincidence-reading type, and permits leveling to within 1 arc second. Sensitivity 20 seconds per 2mm movement.


Mounting interface:

Base: Female threaded, 3-1/2" x 8  U.S. Standard.
