Vintage Japanese Drawstring Bag Made With Kimono Cloth This is a Japanese drawstring bag, kinchaku-bukuro, made of soft silk kimono cloth in an array of vibrant colors (red, pink, green, yellow). The main body of the bag is silk fabric decorated with chrysanthemums (kiku) and peonies (botan) in stripes, while the top border is a solid bubblegum pink. The lining is a simple beige cotton fabric. The cord is an orangish-pink. It has a decent-sized round gusset with a solid piece to keep the bag's shape. While wearing a kimono or a yukata (summer kimono), this bag adds the finishing touch to the overall look.
