Item appears to be in excellent condition (new, open box?).  See photos for condition and other details.

The knife and sheath appear to made of stainless steel and feels solid.  The 8.5 inch blade fits securely in sheath and the blade seems quite sharp.  The overall length is approximately 15 inches.

The box has some damage on the bottom - see pics
