ITEM: Up for sale is pre-owned JVC 5 CD Changer model XL-FZ158BK.

INFO: The JVC XL-FZ158BK is a 5-disc carousel CD changer designed for high-fidelity home audio, featuring a "Play & Exchange" system that allows users to change up to four discs while a fifth continues to play.

This unit was manufactured by Victor Company of Japan in Malaysia around or about 1999. The unit operates on 120VAC household current.

INSPECTION: The exterior black metal casing is well-maintained, exhibiting only minor signs of use and wear across the unit. All original buttons, knobs, connection ports, and front displays are intact and fully functional. The writing and decals on the front remain present and clearly legible. The rear section features output ports and the power connection port; all writing and decals on the rear are also intact and can be easily read.

TESTING: The unit underwent bench testing as allowed. After plugging it in and powering it up, the disc holder functioned correctly and accommodated five CDs. A track was played from each CD, and the unit was connected to an amplifier, producing clear CD audio. No additional tests were conducted.

SUMMARY: This model does not support a remote control. The original packaging, cables and instructions are not included. The optic head lock has been activated for shipping purposes. Great bargain buy and excellent edition to any JVC collection.
