Floyd De Eds -1930s Photographs (Lot of 6) -Quality Amateur Pictorialist Works

Offered here is a lot of 6 original photographs/photogravures by Floyd De Eds, circa 1930s.  The image sizes range from 9 x 12 inches to 10 x 13 inches.  Photographs are attached to mounts or mats.  They are signed either on front at lower right or on back, with photographer's address.  My favorite is "Rock Bound Coast" of which there are two prints, one in a nicer state.  Other titles include "San Francisco" (harbor scene) and "Autumn Sunset".  Two other untitled images include a rural scene with a harvesting wagon, and a UC Berkeley campus view with Sather Tower in distance.

I believe most of these photographs are bromide prints.

Photographs are mostly in very good condition.

Floyd De Eds (b. 1894)
Floyd De Eds, PhD., was an American pharmacologist and researcher who worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the U.S. Public Health Service, based in California.  He was a professor of pharmacology at Stanford University School of Medicine.  His research included studies on chemicals and was active in the 1920s and 1930s.  In his spare time he enjoyed photography and entered numerous amateur competitions.  He was a member of  the Allied Arts Guild of Menlo Park California.
