Vintage Japanese Folding Fan Sensu

This is a miniature traditional Japanese folding fan called a sensu. You can use this for hot drinks or as decoration. This fan features a natural bamboo frame (lacquered ends) and sturdy washi paper. It features two papier-mache dogs (inuhariko) on a red background. The back side is plain white. 
Dogs are a popular motif in Japanese art and decor and are often used to represent the zodiac during the animal's designated year.
