A beautiful original vintage 1974 LL Bean goose down filled ski jacket in Navy with the bright red lining. It is their model 21013B with the Navy shell. It is in great collector condition for being 52 years old. I am the original owner. The size is medium although a medium from 1974 is slightly smaller today.

 It measures 23” pit to pit and 32 “ from the top center of the collar to the very bottom. This jacket has NEVER been dry-cleaned. The goose down filling is still evenly distributed and not bunched up. 

The shell is also in really nice shape with no greasy collar and sleeves. There are just a few tiny pick-mark flaws which are shown and outlined in the photos here. The tiny color loss at the sleeves and elsewhere as shown in the photos can easily be re-colored.

The red lining is in near MINT condition. It doesn't have a hood but does have the snaps in place to accept the proper LL Bean hood.

The stainless steel snaps are in great condition with no corrosion or wear. All of the snaps work perfectly. The waist draw string is intact. Whether your a keen collector or someone seeking a quality down filled jacket, it will be difficult to locate a nicer example.
