Beautiful framed metal artwork featuring Mount Fuji in Japan. The small silver plaque is engraved in Japanese and reads "Presented by Amano Hisashi Governor of Yamanashi Prefecture". Amano Hisashi was governor from 1951-1967 making this a rare, vintage piece. The metal artwork itself is in excellent condition with no visible damage or issues. The frame, matte material and glass show signs of age and wear. Please see photos to determine condition. It is marked or signed on the bottom right corner. Unsure of the metal composition but it appears to be either hand engraved or embossed and has a raised aspect. Airbrushed with gold and silver color. The metal is attached to a 3/8" thick wood backing piece which is attached to the frame. The frame measures 18 5/8" x 12 5/8" x 7/8". The artwork itself measures about 10 1/2" x 5 3/4". Shipping is by USPS Ground Advantage (insured) in the USA only. Thanks for looking!
