Billet Ultra Short Shifter for Mini R50 R52 R53 R54 R55 R56 Cooper S JCW 5 / 6 Speed

Precision engineered, black anodised and machined from high strength lightweight 6061-T6 aluminium. 

Suitable for all first and second generation R* series BMW Mini models from 2001 to 2013 with the 5 and 6 speed transmissions. 

Not only does this shifter look impressive and purposeful once installed - it reduces throw by approximately 40%; providing an exceptional feel on gear changes.

Specifically engineered to work with the stock linkages and cables. The bolt in design retains the factory shift boot and requires no modification is required to fit - although we think it looks far too good to be covered. 

Through research and development of this shifter, the design features Delrin bushes throughout for a rattle free experience and to help reduce cabin noise.

This is a must have addition for any serious track/motorsport/race Mini, but also provides an great feel for day-to-day use and is perfect for custom/fast-road builds.

Although installation is straightforward, we do recommend professional installation for a correct setup. This is a bolt in direct replacement unit, so Installation instructions are not included.
