This camera was tested with multiple batteries, but the battery performance or capacity for this model decreases or loses completely after several years.

Only one of the batteries that i have, shows signs of a very little power. Camera was tested with it, the camera turns on and stays on for a few minutes, red light power turns on, and tape slot opens up.

Also, was tested plugged to the charger and the batteries in the charger 

(Camera does not turn on without batteries in the charger).

It worked at the same way

It can be fully tested with an active battery 

(PV-BP11 or replacement)
