Cartier is known as 'The Jeweller of Kings and the King of Jewellers' with good reason. Any piece of jewellery produced by La Maison Cartier will be of the best possible quality and workmanship, both of which are wonderfully displayed here in this stunning 18ct gold bangle which combines bold design elements of the Panthere and Trinity collections. This is extremely remarkable, there are only a handful of crossover pieces designed over the decades and this is a rare opportunity to purchase one. This originally came as a set with matching earrings, these are also available for sale on our other listings. 

This showstopping pair of Cartier Panthere earrings are handcrafted from solid 18k Gold throughout, with the Cougar/Panthere design on the ends radiating in opulent Yellow Gold. The earrings are fastened with clips which are safe, comfortable, and importantly don't damage your ears. This design then seamlessly blends into the middle section which is forged in the Trinity configuration, the inspiration for which is described perfectly by Cartier as; "Three types of gold. Three symbolic colors: pink for love, yellow for fidelity and white for friendship, intertwined in a display of mystery and harmony” This piece was designed in the early 1980’s, and is a different level of grandeur to the typical ‘Love’ / ‘Juste Un Clou’ bangles. The Panthere motif was originally introduced in 1912, whilst the Trinity was first revealed in 1924 - both of these designs being over a century old and are still a mainstay in the current catalog of La Maison - there is no chance that this design will go out of fashion.  

The condition is overall excellent, they has been serviced by Cartier Old Bond Street where it was confirmed against known records with a matching serial, cleaned and polished along with a complete functionality check. There are some very gentle signs of wear but these are only mentioned for complete transparency, as they are realistically unnoticeable. One of the earrings is ever so slightly angled on the clip but Cartier have confirmed it doesn't impact functionality whatsoever.  As you'd expect, all the hallmarks, serials and relevant engravings are clear and correct. Importantly, these earrings also have the full UK hallmark which no other examples on the market have. It is against the Hallmarking Act of 1973 to trade in gold weighing about 1 gram without this 3 part hallmark, so ultimately cannot be bought or sold on without it.
