This bass is from the "XJ Series" made in Japan.
Its appealing EQ section is versatile and can handle a wide range of genres while retaining a vintage sound.
The oil-finished neck and aged body, finished with an extremely thin layer of lacquer, produce a clear, open-range sound with excellent natural resonance.
This model is finished in all-lacquer "Super Heavy Aged."
The color is a custom-ordered Candy Apple Red over 3-Tone Sunburst!
The pickups are hand-wound in the USA. It features vintage pickups with wooden pickup covers.
The onboard Xotic preamp allows for boost/cut without compromising tone.
Mini switches allow for mid-frequency adjustment between 400Hz and 800Hz and treble adjustment between 6Hz and 12kHz, allowing for precise tuning, such as eliminating overlap with other instruments.
The neck volume knob allows for active/passive switching, allowing you to bypass the EQ section without changing the tone, while maintaining the same sound character.
The bridge volume knob allows for switching between parallel and in-line operation, allowing for a powerful sound without using EQ.
With a versatile sound-shaping potential and a comfortable weight of 4.37kg, this Japanese-made high-end bass is highly recommended for its excellent tone and playability!

High-quality Xotic The XJ-1T's product development (design, wood, color, hardware, pickups, and other components) is designed in our LA workshop.
Every model undergoes a lengthy process to determine the best wood shaping, assembly, and electronics.
These specifications are then precisely communicated to Xotic and our long-standing, trusted factory in Japan, where it is manufactured.
Particular care is taken in the selection of neck and body materials, with our skilled builders combining craftsmanship with the latest CNC technology to faithfully replicate the Xotic process.
Once manufactured, the bass is thoroughly inspected by our master luthier before being shipped to music stores.
Since 2017, we've also introduced PLEK technology, ensuring the fret setting is perfectly tuned.
Additional setup is also performed, including pickup height adjustment, string height, and fine-tuning of the electronics.
Particular attention is paid to playability, tone, fit, and feel.
