  • Heat: Superhot, 1,300,000 SHU
  • Fruit: Medium, wrinkled pendant pods
  • Vibrant red skin and internal flesh.
  • Standout characteristics: Earliest maturing superhot variety; bred for UK climate resilience.


The plant is vigorous and develops a strong branching habit that supports heavy yields. The fruit is waxy and deeply puckered, maturing from green to a brilliant red. 


It has a fierce, immediate heat balanced by a subtle fruitiness. It is primarily used for extreme hot sauces where a quick harvest is required in shorter growing seasons.


Origin: United Kingdom, 2019. Developed by Burpee Europe as the first British-bred superhot hybrid to rival the Carolina Reaper.
