MERRYTHOUGHT Plush 16" Beefeater Teddy BEAR ~ Handmade in England with TAGS A+

• Item: This is a fun bear created by Merrythought Bears in Shropshire, England.  He wears the traditional Beefeater costume in a lovely red velveteen trimmed with gold & black ribbon.  A gold crown with the "E II R" is embroidered in gold thread on his chest.  He also wears a black velveteen hat trimmed in red, white, & blue ribbon.  The Beefeaters are officially know as the, Yeoman Warders of the Towe of London".  They act as ceromonial guradians & serve as guides & custodians of the Tower's history for visitors.  A fun bit of British for your bear collection.
