Warranty, Terms & Conditions

Warranty Coverage
Only engines and gearboxes supplied by GP Metals & Spares are covered under our parts 3 Month Warranty. All other items are supplied with a 30-day return policy only, covering the cost of the part itself. No warranty is offered on ancillary, electrical, or body components.

Returns
If you have ordered an incorrect part (for example, where the part number differs), you may return it within 30 days of receipt using a completed Returns Form (see ‘Returns’ section). Upon receiving the returned item, we will dispatch a replacement if available. If a replacement is unavailable, a refund will be issued, and you will be notified by email.
Return postage costs are non-refundable, unless the item was faulty or incorrectly supplied.

All returned parts must be in the same condition as supplied, complete with all security marks, seals, and labels intact.

Exclusions
GP Metals & Spares does not cover labour costs, fitting, removal, or any associated charges. Warranty or return coverage does not extend to vehicle damage, downtime, or consequential losses of any kind.

Inspection & Reporting
All items must be inspected upon delivery. Any transit damage must be reported within 24 hours, supported by clear photographic evidence (including the packaging and shipping label). Claims reported outside this period may not be eligible for investigation.

Tampering & Modifications
Any signs of tampering, modification, or attempted repair will void warranty and return eligibility.

Installation & Safety
We strongly recommend that all safety-critical parts be fitted by a qualified automotive technician. GP Metals & Spares accepts no responsibility for faults, injury, or damage resulting from incorrect installation or handling.

⚠️ Important Information – Electronic Control Modules (BCM, TCM, Gateway, Bluetooth, etc.)
Most control modules are vehicle-specific and may require programming, coding, or synchronisation with your vehicle’s existing systems before they will operate correctly.

• Professional programming required: Many modules (e.g. BCMs, transmission control units, Bluetooth modules) must be coded or matched to your vehicle by a qualified auto electrician or specialist using the correct diagnostic equipment.

• Security seals: All electronic parts are security marked and sealed. Returns will not be accepted if these seals have been broken, tampered with, or removed.

• Proof of fault: If a part has been installed but is found to be faulty or incompatible, we require photographic proof or a diagnostic report showing communication errors or non-response.

• Compatibility: Please confirm that the part number and software version match your original unit before purchase. Visual similarities alone do not guarantee compatibility.

• Installation care: Improper fitting, static discharge, or incorrect programming can damage electronic components and void your right to return.
