This Fork is Top Drawer!

This is a very rare, enameled pickle/fish fork.

It was made for the Hartford Golf Club of Hartford, Conn.

The Club was founded in 1896, and this fork is of that era.

The design is two golf clubs forming the handle with the club's crest on the top

in blue and red enamel and a Neptune inspired spear on the end.

16.5cm long.

The metal has been tested for purity.

There are hallmarks but I cannot decipher them.

The condition is very good, with no missing enamel or bends.

But the bottom left corner of the shield has a bit of roughness to it.

18.6g total weight.

Rare piece of golf club history.

My photos do not do it justice.

I could not find any other examples of this fork.

If nothing else, it looks really cool.
