Fabulous vintage and very unusual Mid Century amateur acrylic / oil painting on board.
Depicts a scene of buildings at dusk with a red sky and one tower in the foreground. We think, from where this was acquired, that it's quite possibly the old Ironbridge Cooling Towers (well, one of them)
Simple, basic and naive in style, it's lightweight, unglazed and set in a slightly convex cardboard 'frame' - painted to look like wood! Very kitsch indeed!
Large size - measures approx 36cm x 66cm to the outer edge of the frame. Ready to hang.
